  • Building a world-class POS within a short timeframe

    When I first joined Onvi, the first version of the Mobile Order and Pay application has just been released. But we soon realised we had to pivot and develop the fully-fledged POS experience. With new ways of working, we successfully delivered a feature-rich product in just under 9 months, ultimately processing over 4 million orders and taking £66 million in GMV.

  • Architecting a modern publication for young journalists with AWS

    Instead of devoting a significant amount of time to the nitty-gritty of backend architecture, leveraging the power of AWS allowed us to focus on the core product itself. It provided a low-code solution for setting up best-in-class backends, while handling complexity in a way that did not slow down MVP development.

  • Using new technology to streamline product development

    With a Laravel PHP backend and two native apps to support (iOS and Android), new feature development and product maintenance proved slow and repetitive. This is until we switched to React Native and Google Firebase, allowing us to improve the quality of our products and get things out the door significantly faster.
